Former Caterham dealer Donkervoort, has been manufacturing Dutch-version Sevens since the late 1970s. The Donkervoort D8 GT Coupe seen here in concept art is based on the D8 Roadster but is fitted with a carbon fibre hard top and roll cage.

The overall weight of the D8 GT Coupe is only 20 kgs heavier than the roadster version. Donkervoort expects to produce about 50 units per annum.
