Thursday, June 14th, 2007

Ken Evans on YouTube going up Loton in 57.06 secs! Apparently it was only good for 2nd place though. Bummer … better luck next time, Ken!

Notice the burnout start (Does Ken Evans Seven have Line-Lock/Roll Control installed?), and the geezer who walks across his path without even looking left before he crosses!

DONKERVOORT D8 PROMO MOVIE

Wednesday, June 13th, 2007

Check out Donkervoort’s D8 promotional movie. Imagine … once upon a time Joop Donkervoort was a Caterham dealer in Holland until 1976, and made his own wider, larger Seven which was initially known as the ‘Netherlands Seven‘! Monday, June 4th, 2007

Caterham introduced it’s 150bhp Ford Sigma as a Rover K-Series replacement earlier this year.

While initially stating that their mid-range model would produce 140bhp, 15bhp up from the 125bhp entry-level Ford Sigma powerplant, Caterham’s engineers decided that the powerplant was such a good match to it’s new, stiffer chassis that they raised the output to 25bhp.

CATERHAM SEVEN X330 CONCEPT

Sunday, June 3rd, 2007

Built in time for Caterham’s 50th Anniversary celebrations, the menacing satin black X330, as the name suggests, is 330-horsepower concept based on the CSR, and is equipped with a supercharged 330-horsepower Duratec 2.3-litre powerplant.

While the insanely famous R500 K-Series based Sevens had power to weight ratios of 500:1, the X330 is a one-off supercharged model […]
