CATERHAM SEVEN STARTER PACK

Caterham, custodians of the Lotus/Caterham Seven since 1973, has ensured that the Seven has continued in production for 50 years.
Customers can buy a Seven in three forms - Complete Kit, Factory Built or, as we will see here, a ‘Caterham Starter Pack‘!
A Caterham Starter Pack, costing UKP3995 (UKP4694.13 incl. VAT), is a flexible way to build a Seven, allowing customers to build Sevens in their own time, spreading the cost over a longer period, and choosing the exact specifications they desire, building up their Seven in stages.
The Caterham Starter Pack is basically a precision-manufactured chassis built using sophisticated laser-cutting and robot-welding techniques (As Seven Builder reported here). Some items are pre-fitted for safety, peace of mind and help save assembly time.
A Caterham Seven Series 3 Starter Pack chassis is fitted with:
- Wind Deflector
- Brake lines
- Fuel tank and fuel lines
- Pedals
- Seatbelts
- Wiring loom, Dashboard and Instruments
With a Starter Pack in hand, builders can then add packages of parts stage by stage until they complete the Seven of their dreams.
