SPAX KRYPTON GAS ADJUSTABLE DAMPERS

SPAX now offer uprated and adjustable Krypton filled dampers for the Caterham Seven from 1996 on at a price which compares favourably to ordinary replacement.

Damping adjustments can be carried out on the car without dismantling. There are 28 adjustment settings which can be adjusted by twisting a knob to cater to driver preferences.
Both bump and rebound can be adjusted and the ride height can also be varied, again, without removing the dampers from the vehicle.
Krypton gas (an inert and incredibly stable gas) is now used by SPAX in all their adjustable dampers. Krypton’s thermodynamic properties ensure that the low speed ride qualities are as high as possible, meaning that low speed ride comfort is significantly improved. High speed performance is further enhanced due to extremely high fade resistance.
SPAX dampers can be used with the standard Caterham springs and are suitable for all De Dion axle Caterham Sevens manufactured from 1996 onwards. Versions are available for both standard and wide track suspension setups.
