MOTORSPORT ACADEMY’S INAUGURAL EDUCATION CONFERENCE
Ben Corley | June 27, 2007
It’s quite uncommon to have so many top motorsport bigwigs assembled in one place – on July 10/11 Ross Brawn, Dr Pat Symonds, Patrick Head, David Richards CBE, Frank Dernie and Sergio Rinland will be at Silverstone for the Motorsport Academy’s inaugural Education Conference.
The main aim of the event is to discuss the development of world class skills within UK motorsport and how education and the industry must work together to ensure Britain remains at the forefront of this fiercely competitive global business.
This is a rare opportunity to listen to such eminent performance engineering employers and to network with delegates from the motorsport industry and academia. It will be of enormous value to anybody involved in the engineering, HR, recruitment, training, education and almost all other areas of the motorsport sector.
The conference days run from 10.30-16.15 on July 10 and 9.00-17.00 on July 11. Saturday’s official proceedings are followed by a networking reception and delegate dinner at the nearby Whittlebury Hall. The guest speaker is former director of Ford Motorsport and renowned raconteur Stuart Turner.
Places are limited and should be booked without delay by calling Clare Stone on 02476 692600 or emailing her at clare.stone@the-mia.com
