QUESTION:
Guess what the DeTomaso Vallelunga had in common with the Caterham Sevens we know and are obsessed with?

ANSWERS:
a) Standard / Triumph front uprights
b) Ford Kent engine

Thanks to James Gribbon @ Jalopnik.com (Click to read entire story) for posting such an enlightening article! As much as I like the DeTomaso Vallelunga though, IMHO the Seven is a lot better! ;)

What does this shit have to do with sevens? The uprights? Is this car accessible to the public? Maybe you are suggesting chopping this car up to build a seven? Not practical?

I’m just trying to show that some interesting cars used components that were also used in the Seven. If you have any suggestions or ideas to improve this site I’d love to hear it. Thanks for your response.
